Tomasz Zieliński, Ph.D., Eng.,
President of the Board of Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry
Ladies and Gentleman!
The 13th edition of the Polish Chemistry Congress, the most important and largest annual event for the chemical industry in Poland and Central Europe, will take place on June 11-12, 2026, in Warsaw (Hotel Arche Krakowska). Organized by the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry (PIPC), this central meeting will bring together, over two days, representatives of public administration, chemical industry leaders, scientific community, and representatives of enterprises that contribute to the technological and operational base of the sector across the entire value chain.
Geopolitical and trade tensions have become a permanent feature of the global economic environment, affecting the functioning of European and global value chains while increasing cost pressure and operational uncertainty across many sectors. At the heart of these processes lies the chemical industry – particularly sensitive to disruptions in access to raw materials, energy and logistics, while at the same time being crucial for the stability of sectors such as energy, defence, construction, pharmaceuticals and advanced technologies.
The Polish Chemistry Congress will once again serve as a central forum for discussion on the resilience, sovereignty and security of the chemical sector, where the industry not only diagnoses challenges but, above all, seeks solutions and common directions for action.
– 2026 could prove to be a crucial year for the European and Polish chemical industries. Ahead of us lies the implementation of the Industrial Accelerator Act and elements of the Action Plan for the European chemical industry. At the same time, the Critical Chemicals Alliance has begun its work, with the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry as an active participant. These initiatives – alongside stable regulatory conditions and access to competitive energy and raw materials – can create real opportunities for the development of innovation, new technologies and investments across the entire chemical value chain. This year’s programme of the Poland Chemistry Congress clearly demonstrates that the chemical industry is a pillar of Europe’ssecurity and development, and an essential element for the stable functioning of the entire economy – said Tomasz Zieliński, Ph.D., Eng., President of the Management Board of the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry.
The Polish Chemistry Congress is not only a forum for strategic debates, but also the leading networking platform for the chemical sector in Poland, bringing together decision-makers, business leaders, as well as experts and specialists responsible for key areas of industry operations. The event format fosters direct dialogue between representatives of public administration, company boards and management teams, as well as experts in regulation, environmental protection, ESG, energy, safety, technology and digitalisation, technology solution providers and financial institutions. Congress participants will have the opportunity to build relationships in a dedicated expo zone and during the networking dinner, with networking further supported by a conference app enabling contact with other participants and the scheduling of business meetings.
A permanent and well-recognised element of the 13th Poland Chemistry Congress will once again be the #PolskaChemiaTalks studio, where interviews and recordings will be conducted with representatives of industry, public administration and the expert community. This format enables Congress participants to present their companies, positions and proposals, while also increasing the visibility of their voice and presence in the broader industry debate on the future of the chemical sector.
A detailed event agenda will be available soon.
