Marcin jest globalny ekspertem w sektorze petrochemicznym, paliwowym i energetycznym, z prawie 20 lat doświadczeń konsultingowych w Europie, na Bliskim Wschodzie i na świecie.

Ostatnie doświadczenia zawodowe obejmują Boston Consulting Group (BCG), gdzie w okresie 2011-24 Marcin sprawował szereg ról, m.in. był Partnerem i Dyrektorem Zarządzającym odpowiedzialnym za sektor energetyczny w Polsce oraz Partnerem – Eksperem w branży petrochemicznej i rafineryjnej na Bliskim Wschodzie.

Przed BCG, Marcin był związany z firmą konsultingową Kearney, a wcześniej pracował w przemyśle, odpowiadając m.in. za inwestycje infrastrukturalne i logistykę

Obecnie Marcin jest Senior Advisorem w BCG

Doświadczenia w branży petrochemicznej Marcina obejmują m.in.:

• Przeprowadzenie szeregu projektów strategii, podejścia do dystrybucji oraz doskonałości operacyjnej – globalnie, na Bliskim Wschodzie i w Europie
• Zaangażowanie w projekty M&A, integracyjne i zarządzania JV, wspierając niektóre pionierskie transkacje w CEE czy na Bliskim Wschodzie
• Marcin pracuje także regularnie z branżą transportu morskiego, pomagająć wypracować optymalne rozwiązania dla klientów paliwowo-petrochemicznych

Poza zaangażowaniem w wydarzenia PIPC, Marcin jest także regularnym prelegentem na EKG, ADIPEC Downstream Technical Conference, Gulf Petrochemical Council Association czy Emirates Shipping Association

Marcin studiował IT na Politechnice Warszawskiej oraz Nottigham Trent University (UK) ma także stopień MBA z University of Calgary (Kanada).

Marcin is one of the global energy and downstream oil & gas experts with almost 20 years of consulting experience in Europe, Middle East and globally.

His recent experience included Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where in the period 2011-24 Marcin held several posts including a Managing Director and Partner for the Energy Sector in Poland and an Expert Partner in downstream in the Middle East.

Prior to BCG, Marcin was with Kearney consultancy and before worked in the industry managing capex infrastructure project execution and supply chain.

Marcin currently serves as a Senior Advisor to BCG.

Marcin petrochemical experience covers in particular:

• Led several strategy, go-to-market and ops excellence projects in globally, in the Middle East and Europe
• Specific experience in M&A, integration and JV management, driving some pioneering transaction in the Middle East and CEE
• Marcin also works extensively with the shipping industry, helping to develop optimal logistics solutions for downstream oil & gas clients

Apart from the support to PIPC events, Marcin is also a frequent speaker and contributor to European Economic Congress, ADIPEC Downstream Technical Conference, Gulf Petrochemical Council Association, Emirates Shipping Association

Marcin studied IT at the Warsaw University of Technology and The Nottingham Trent University (UK) and holds an MBA degree from the University of Calgary (Canada)
