Yong Girl Lee jest dyrektorem z wieloletnim doświadczeniem w zarządzaniu międzynarodowymi korporacjami i w służbie publicznej.

Pracował w Ambasadzie Republiki Korei w Polsce i w LG Chem, największej firmie wytwarzającej produkty chemiczne w Korei Południowej. W 2016 roku dołączył do LG Energy Solution Wrocław („Spółka”), największego producenta baterii do pojazdów elektrycznych w Europie, gdzie zarządzał wieloma działami, w tym HR, Sprawy Korporacyjne, IT, Dział Prawny, Dział Ochrony Środowiska, Dział Zakupów, Logistyka.

Od 2021 roku pełni funkcję Dyrektora Działu Relacji Zewnętrznych w LG Energy Solution Wrocław, aktywnie angażując się w zrównoważony rozwój i wspierając działania związane z transformacją energetyczną. Obecnie Pan Lee zarządza w Spółce zespołami ds. Relacji Zewnętrznych, ESG, PR/CSR.

W trakcie swojej kariery zawodowej Yong Girl Lee zdobył szerokie kompetencje menedżerskie i strategiczne, rozwijając rozległą wiedzę specjalistyczną w obszarach produkcji baterii, zrównoważonego rozwoju i innowacji. Dzięki temu jest w stanie zidentyfikować główne wyzwania i trendy w branży bateryjnej i energetycznej. Dyrektor Lee mieszka w Polsce od ponad 30 lat, dzięki czemu doskonale rozumie specyfikę lokalnego rynku i potrzeby międzynarodowych interesariuszy. Aktywnie współpracuje również z interesariuszami branży bateryjnej w Europie, działając na rzecz budowania zrównoważonej przyszłość europejskiego rynku energii.

Yong Girl Lee is a director with many years of experience in managing international corporations and in public service.

He worked at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Poland and at LG Chem, the most important manufacturer of chemical products in South Korea. In 2016, he joined LG Energy Solution Wrocław (“the Company”), the largest factory in Europe producing batteries for EVs. Here he managed a number of departments, including HR, Corporate Affairs, IT, Legal, Environmental Protection, Procurement, and Logistics.

Since 2021, he has served as the External Relations Department Director at LG Energy Solution Wrocław, being actively involved in sustainable development and supporting activities related to energy transformation. At the company, Mr. Lee currently manages External Affairs, ESG, PR/CSR teams.

Throughout his professional career, Yong Girl Lee has gained broad managerial and strategic competences, developing extensive expertise in the areas of battery production, sustainability, and innovation. Thanks to this he is able to identify the main challenges and trends in the battery and energy industries. Director Lee has lived in Poland for over 30 years thus he perfectly understands the specificity of the local market and the needs of international stakeholders. He also actively collaborates with the European battery industry stakeholders, working to build a sustainable future for the European energy market.
