Chemical engineer with 6 years in academia and start-ups, and 17 years of experience in power and chemical industry. Michal is a Technical University of Wroclaw graduate and holds a PhD from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. In 2006 he joined the Alstom Power Switzerland Future Technology team and later became a manager of the Chemical Processes Group in the Open Innovation Department. In 2014 and 2015, he led two first-of-a-kind post combustion CO2 capture demo plants. In 2016, he took a position as a Senior New Technologies Manager in General Electric. From November 2018 Michal manages the R&D Division of Casale SA.
